A veterinarian and a woman are showing affection to a golden retriever dog in a veterinary clinic. The veterinarian is holding the dog's paw and is leaning in to touch noses with the dog, which appears calm and affectionate. There is a poster of various cat breeds on the wall, and medical supplies and equipment are visible in the background.

Meet Dr. Ada M. Fernandez

“Pets are often our closest companions and need to receive the same special treatment and love they give us” - Dr. Fernandez

I was born in Havana, Cuba and since I was a child I always felt an innate love for animals and the desire to help them. I studied Veterinary Medicine at the Higher Institute of Agricultural Sciences in Havana, graduating in 1993. Since then I have dedicated all my efforts to help those who need us the most (our dear four-legged angels). I have put all my love and heart into my profession and I am very passionate about what I do. I have worked as a veterinarian in my native country of Cuba, and later I moved to Chile where I continued my profession. When I arrived to Miami, I dedicated myself to studying, and renewed my license in 2011. After working as a vet for several local clinics, God gave me the blessing of opening my own place: "Four Paws Angels Animal Clinic." I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
